Ipods

Apple's ipod is one of the greatest and most important things I own. It has all of my music on it, or files that i need and i think that people really don't care about ipods because the surge of popularity has passed. ipod sales are slowly starting to decrease as cheaper ifrauds become more available even though they don't work overly well.

Ipods were launched in October 2001, the original first ipod stored up to 10GB and cost $500 coming complete with a mechanical scroll wheel, the fourth ipod was released in July 2004 and could cost $450. Their were buttons on the click wheel, it had a display with colour.

The other day i saw the newest Ipod commercial and was really impressed! I have a 30gb ipod and i love it a lot, it is the best thing inthe world knowing that if i go anywhere that most of my songs that i have i can listen! Obviously Ipod's are newer inventions that brought the company of Apple back into the market as they hadn't been doing so well being opposed with Microsoft. The commercials are extremely different from the other commercials on television because it just is music and dancing as you may or may not already be aware of. The music that have been used in a couple commercials are:
*Hey Mama by the Black eyed peas

*Are you going to be my girl? by Jet
*Walkie Talkie Man by Steriogram

*Vertigo by U2

*Jerk it out by the Caesars
*Technologic by Daft Punk
*Feel Good Inc. by The Gorrillaz
*Love Train by Wolfmother
*The Audience is Listening Theme Song by Cut Chemist
*Flathead by The Fratellis

* and the newest song is Mi Swing Es Tropical by Quantic and Nickodemus
I honesly think that everybody who loves music should have an ipod because they are so good!

I love my ipod dearly too... but the only problem is that i really feel like i need to upgrade and get a better one... mine is a nano and its 2 gigs... 500 songs is just not enough, i already have over 600 songs on my computer. i just realized i probably download at least 50 songs a month. ipods are so expensive though, i just cant afford to upgrade.

I also love my iPod ... more than I ever thought I would ... I have a playlist for everything from "babyshower" to "slightly sleepy." What I wonder about though, is it iPods that are so amazing or their marketing? Could I love a no name mp3 player as much?
